I am an adult/child/youth and family therapist and clinical consultant in private practice with 40 years experience. I founded the Centre For Expressive Therapy to provide counselling and psychotherapy based on my approach to healing, Holistic Expressive Therapy.

I’m Tim, and I help others break free from “just surviving,” and get back to happy, engaged living. With caring, humour, and evidence-based techniques, I guide clients to access their own power and wisdom, and find lasting answers to tough life problems.

I love getting to know new people and listening to their stories whatever they may be feeling. In this space is the opportunity to connect. I work hard to know my clients and offer skills that truly help to find relief and change no matter how stuck things may seem.

Sometimes life is difficult. We are unable to overcome the issues that are plaguing our life. While some may be able to address similar issues, they don't have the same past experiences that are holding them in a negative place.

Fortitude is defined as finding the strength of mind; enabling a person to encounter adversity with courage. My comfortable approach combined with solution focussed techniques help to promote a path to wellness that clients can be active participants in.

I offer clients a safe, confidential, compassionate space to heal and grow. I come to the table with extensive training, knowledge and experience and I am honoured to be trusted by clients with their journey.

I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) based in the West End, serving the entire Lower Mainland. I practice a bio-psycho-social approach to mental health, addressing the interconnected aspects of well-being & functioning.
